Multi-instrumentalist and platinum record selling artist Ryan Sheridan will be commanding the stage at Emerald Sounds 4th of March line-up in Camden’s Electric Ballroom.
The Monaghan man is the second act to be confirmed for the two-day music festival in London where his six-string skills and percussive attack will be igniting the stage with his high-energy tracks and haunting ballads.
An inventive guitarist and passionate singer, Sheridan’s acoustic-driven, anthemic songs saw him rise from the busking streets to a headlining main stage in less than a year, where his high-octane performances have thrilled packed venues worldwide.
Since the release of his 2011 debut album ‘The Day You Live Forever’, which was fuelled by the success of massive hits ‘Jigsaw’ and ‘The Dreamer’, Sheridan has all but shaken his busker title. He is now a solid fixture on the Irish music scene where his second album, ’Here And Now’, went straight to No. 1 in the 2015 Irish charts.
Having supported Bryan Adams, Taylor Swift and The Script in packed arena shows, the singer has seen his international reputation spread. In 2012, ‘The Day You Live Forever’ climbed to the top of the German charts on the back of deals made with Universal Music in Europe and Australia.
Extensive touring followed this success and much of 2013 was spent enthralling European audiences. With a teenage apprenticeship on Broadway NYC, it is no surprise that live performance has underpinned his journey to fame, which is down to his natural gift for storytelling and commanding stage presence that connects with audiences wherever he performs.
